About the Opportunity

A division of the Casman Group of Companies, Casman Building is looking for a Warranty Carpenter to join their team in Fort McMurray.

The primary purpose of this role is to perform rough and finished carpentry and/or cabinet making to maintain, repair, and construct structures and fixtures.

Some of the typical duties involved with this role include:

• Performing building maintenance and construction work including renovations and installing fixtures;
• Reading and understanding designs, sketches, blueprints, and operating manuals;
• Planning and designing jobs, purchasing raw material inputs, and initiating construction activities;
• Maintaining fluency in construction safety and ISO quality assurance requirements;
• Following safe work and quality policies and procedures;
• Performing basic duties in carpentry trade, and other duties that are assigned.

The successful candidate will have several years construction work experience and completed trade certification; or have a combination of education and experience.  Having experience fixing windows, doors, drywall etc. will be a valuable asset.

Casman Building is seeking competent, reliable individuals with a good knowledge of construction, who are highly focused on quality output. Candidates must have an excellent track record of quality of work, a high level of integrity, and be able to work as part of a team.  You will be required to provide your own tools.
