UV Pure’s products are currently distributed and in use in North America, Australia and New Zealand, China and Brazil. Its customer base includes GE, Siemens, 3M Corporation, Premier Tech, Kinetico, Culligan, and a broad base of leading specifying engineering firms like Veolia, CH2M Hill, Eco-tec and others. It’s systems are applied in potable water, reuse, and wastewater treatment.

The company’s patented Crossfire Technology® was invented in Ontario, Canada. It is dramatically advantaged compared to conventional UV. Systems are self-cleaning, and smart - with multiple sensors and on-board diagnostics, and engineered to be fail-safe and virtually maintenance-free. Lamps are mounted in air surrounded by elliptical reflectors providing more effective deactivation of pathogens, and incorporating easy lamp changes and visual quartz inspection.  Remote monitoring is available.

UV Pure markets three product lines: Hallett® systems are NSF/ANSI 55 Class A certified. Upstream™ systems are engineered to achieve the same performance standards as NSF 55 Class A, for use where regulations do not require it, and for UVT levels as low as 50%. The company’s new Cactus™ systems are designed and priced for residential use.

About the Opportunities

UV Pure Technologies is looking for a dynamic Outside Technical Sales Executive and an experienced Inside Technical Salesperson to join their team. 

Outside Sales Professionals:

Within this challenging role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of UV Pure products in your territory, achieving exceptional sales and business development performance.

Supported by the inside sales support and engineering team, your role will involve:

  • Working directly with customers, prospects and manufacturer representatives;
  • Providing input on product development and product management;
  • Participating in trade shows; and
  • Traveling as required (50%-75%). 

UV Pure is seeking candidates who have a minimum 5 years sales experience within the water treatment or environmental technology space. Ideally you will be familiar with UV disinfection, and you will know your marketplace. 

You will have a related degree coupled with exceptional written and oral communication skills. Candidates who are fluent in one or more additional languages will be held in high regard.

Candidates who demonstrate the ability to go above and beyond the call of duty to achieve results with the confidence, initiative and capacity to learn UV Pure Technologies' products and services will have a competitive advantage.  Strong relationship building and listening skills, a collaborative team spirit, confidence and goal focused approach is also ideal for this opportunity.

Inside Technical Sales Representative:

This pivotal position, will see you working directly with customers, specifying engineers, regulators and influencers to provide pre-application specifications, sizing and equipment recommendations, price quotations and engineering drawings as required.

Specifically you will be involved in:

  • Provision of sales materials and production information;
  • Input on product development and product management; and
  • Participation in trade shows. 

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of inside sales and technical support experience in the water treatment industry or environmental technology space. You must also have an Environmental Engineering degree, a B Eng., relevant BSc. or higher qualification.

Excellent communications skills are imperative as is familiarity with CAD, CRM, MS Office and plumbing/electrical blue prints. Candidates who are fluent in one or more additional language will be held in high regard.

- Outside Technical Sales Executive - OTE $60k-$90k (Retainer plus commission)

- Inside Technical Sales Representative - $50k-$65k (Salary)
