Linden is located approximately 45mins North East of Calgary and just over 1 hour South East of Red Deer. Linden is a beautiful and safe place to raise a family. The natural coulée that bisects the Village offers a picturesque view and is home to geese, deer, herons and wild flowers.

About the Opportunity
Hawk Machine Works Ltd. is seeking several experienced CNC Machinists to join their growing team in Linden, Alberta.
Morning shifts are 7am to 3pm, with the possibility of afternoon shifts from 3pm-11pm.
Working alongside a talented team of machinists, in a modern shop, you will responsible for producing high precision parts in quantities ranging from prototype "one-offs" to thousands in a production run.
More specifically, you will:
- Write/Edit CNC programs;
- Plan, select and load tooling to machine parts;
- Operate CNC equipment to machine parts to engineering drawings and specifications;
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment and program;
- Perform and document product inspections as detailed in the inspection plans;
- Conduct and document daily equipment maintenance; and
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
To qualify, you will be a Journeyman Class CNC Machinist, with Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience. Applicants with previous experience with Haas & Okuma and Gibbs Cam/Master Cam software will be given preference.
This full time role requires individuals with strong mechanical aptitude. Above all, Hawk Machine Works Ltd. is seeking motivated, creative, team players who value skill, honesty and fairness in the workplace.
Experience with oilfield production is an asset.
