About the Opportunity
NCSG Northern Crane, Trans Tech Contracting is seeking two experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their teams in Grand Prairie, Fort McMurray, Edmonton and Stony Plain, Alberta.
You will be responsible for carrying out skilled journeyman level work. This will involve:
- Performing hands on maintenance and repairs of all equipment;
- Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic troubles;
- Making repairs according to the manufacturers specifications; and
- Assisting apprentices and other employees with helping them develop the skills of the trade.
Ideally, you are a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician who has at least 5 years of experience.
Excellent mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out all aspects of heavy duty repairs is essential, as is being physically and mentally fit and being capable of the demands of the job. A skilled individual with initiative, diligence and reliability, you also have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
