About the Opportunity

CivilTeam Engineering has exciting opportunities for several talented Civil Engineering Project Team Members to join their teams working on $3 - $8 million projects across QLD and NSW. The roles currently on offer are: Site Engineer and Project Engineer.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site and  Project Engineer, will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager, and ensuring that day to day project operations run smoothly and are completed successfully as directed.

More specifically, the key duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting the Project Manager to ensure allocated construction projects are managed within budget as well as within the constraints of all applicable laws, company procedures, specifications and contractual obligations;
  • Maintaining good relations with CivilTeams’ Clients and ensuring projects are completed to their satisfaction;
  • Providing adequate supervision and guidance to your project teams and ensuring teams are operating efficiently and cohesively;
  • responsible for ensuring all work operations are conducted within the constraints of all applicable drawings and specifications;
  • implementing safety, quality and environmental management systems;

To be successful in these positions you will be a highly organised team player with tertiary qualifications in Engineering, and demonstrated experience working on projects within the Australian Civil Construction industry. As well, you will have experience in working according to project management plans and in managing staff and contractors and you will have an outstanding command of the English language both written and oral.

You'll need to be a flexible and quick learning team player with the ability to problem solve and work productively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced and often-changing environment.
