Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 2000 people.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking Full-time and Part-time Pathology Specimen Collectors to join their Hospitals Collection Team. You will be required to work across multiple sites including Greenslopes Private Hospital, Wesley Hospital, Mater Hospital, St Andrews War Memorial, Brisbane Private Hospital, Holy Spirit Northside Hospital and Chermside Collection Centre.
The primary task of this role will be to collect pathology specimens.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection. You will possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with a dedication to excellent customer service and client satisfaction. You must also be able to work independently as well as in a team, and demonstrate the ability to perform tasks in a timely manner.
These positions will interest highly motivated individuals who want to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Advanced collection skills or willingness to train in advanced collection skills are essential!
Candidates with pathology specimen collection experience and hospital environment experience will be held in high regard, although this is not essential. As the Hospital Group works over 24hr/7 days a week, candidates must primarily be available to work shifts between 5.00am and 11pm Monday - Friday. This position also requires participation in weekend shifts.
The high level of service provided by Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is delivered by a dedicated staff comprising of pathologists, scientists, technicians, laboratory assistants, collection personnel, couriers, computer personnel, pathology services assistants and other support staff. The successful candidate will join a welcoming team of dedicated health professionals with a focus on patient care.

An attractive hourly rate, circa $18.23, will be offered to each successful applicant. This may vary for existing SNP staff depending on current Classification Level.
