About the Opportunity

Millennium Geomatics is currently seeking a full-time Survey Crew Chief based in Edmonton, Alberta.

In this key position, you will coordinate survey projects, oversee multiple survey crews, and train junior crews. You will also liaise and collaborate with clients, providing the highest level of customer service at all times.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of a registered Survey or Geomatics Technology program, or have equivalent experience in a related field. You will also need at least 3 years of experience running a survey crew within the Oil & Gas industry.

Experience in legal surveying specifically in the Western Canadian region will be considered a definite asset, however we will accept applications from candidates with the correct blend of experience who are quick learners.

To be successful in this role, you must be well versed with all aspects of oilfield surveying, with proficiency in RTK and static GPS data collection and processing, as well as strong computer skills. If you have experience using MicroSurvey software, have H2S certification, First Aid, ATV, and chainsaw faller safety, then you will be at an advantage above the rest!

Strong work ethic and values are crucial to this active role, and you will be required to work throughout Alberta for extended periods of time as part of a 2-person crew.
