About the Opportunity
Due to Sicom’s growing success and unparalleled reputation, we are excited to announce the opening of our brand new, state-of-the-art facility October 2014 in Houston, Texas! Our new, fully air conditioned, concrete tilt wall constructed location is complete with 30,000 square feet and can expand to provide up to 70,000 square feet of floor space.

Due to expansion, Sicom Industries Ltd. is seeking several CNC Machinists to join their team in Houston, Texas.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating a range of brand new CNC machines including lathes and/or milling centers. Preference will be given to those who have an IT background along with the ability to program the Computer Numerical Control Machining Equipment.
More specifically, you will:
- Operate and set up CNC mills or lathes;
- Edit and optimize CNC programs;
- Calculate mathematical formulas to determine part dimensions; and
- Perform inspection on completed parts.
This full time role requires individuals with at least 5 years of machining experience in the industry, paired with set up experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
