About the Opportunity
Argus Machine Co. Ltd. is seeking a CNC Programmer to our Manufacturing team in Edmonton, Alberta.
We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and experience working in a similar manufacturing environment, including the operation of a multi-axis CNC machine, preferably with exposure to API threading. Five years of CNC machining experience with Fanuc Controls is required with at least three of those years being in MasterCam Mill/Lathe Level 1 programming.
The ideal candidate will have machine shop experience, strong mechanical aptitude and a Provincial or Interprovincial Machinist certificate is preferred.
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, you will be able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently. Highly organized and with attention to detail, you will have excellent command of the English language and the ability to read and interpret instructions.
