About the Opportunity
Clover Tool Mfg. Ltd. is currently seeking individuals with progressive die experience to fill the full-time role of Tool and Die Maker in Concord, Ontario.
As the Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for the provision of quality and timely workmanship in maintaining and improving production tooling in support of press shop delivery commitments. Your duties will be performed in the designated tool room or in the press shop.
To qualify for this role, you will have completed a secondary school education, possess a tool and die certification and have experience with progressive dies. The ability to build/maintain progressive dies is essential and automotive experience is preferred. Five years' experience is an asset, but not essential.
Our ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, capable of troubleshooting, problem-solving and working independently. You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic and the flexibility to work a variety of afternoon and evening shifts, including 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am.
