About the Opportunities
Currently, Toolplas is searching for an experienced CNC Machinist and Moldmaker/Toolmaker in Windsor, ON.
CNC Machinists
In this role, you will be responsibility for performing the following duties:
- tool and tooling set-up
- cutterpath programming
- cutting best practices
- completion review and sign-off procedures
As our ideal candidate, you have a minimum of 3 years of experience, which includes 3D, 2D and multi-axis machining as well as programming. Experience with PowerMILL and with CNC cutting molds and components is a definite asset.
Moldmaker/Toolmaker
In this role, you will oversee:
- Assembly and disassembly of molds
- Machining with small manual shop machines
- Fitting of components
In order to apply, you must have previous machine shop experience and be willing to be trained in moldmaking. You must also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings. It will be an asset if you have spotting knowledge and injection mold experience.
