About the Opportunity

Clover Tool Mfg. Ltd. is currently seeking a Tooling Designer with progressive die experience to join our team in Vaughan, Ontario.

As a Tooling Designer, you will be responsible for the provision of quality and timely workmanship in maintaining and improving production tooling in support of press shop delivery commitments. Your duties will be performed in the designated tool room or in the press shop. 

To qualify for this dynamic role, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in progressive dies within a tool design capacity;  
  • Exposure to transfer tool designs;  
  • Proficiency with Solid Works, Key Creator 4, Microsoft Excel, and translation software; 
  • Knowledge in 3D quick press; and 
  • Knowledge of simulations is an asset.

With strong time management and multi-tasking capabilities, our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to successfully lead projects. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. 

As a critical thinker who can troubleshoot, problem-solve and work independently, you will effectively read and interpret engineering drawings in a fast-paced environment.
