Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit aged care and community service provider that was established in July 2014. About the role

ARRCS Community Care in Katherine, provides in-home care support for elderly people in the Katherine Region and are a registered NDIS provider. We provide a range of services to the community that include meals, personal hygiene, clinical care services, medication assistance, social interaction and respite options.

 

We now have an opportunity for a Certificate III Business Administration Indigenous Trainee with our Katherine Community Care team. This role will involve providing administration support to the team and supporting client group activities and outings. You must be willing to commit to 18 months of study to complete the Certificate III and will be provided with on the job training and indigenous mentoring support from ARRCS indigenous engagement team. The qualification will be delivered in partnership with CDU and GTNT.

 

Skills & experience

  • Identify as Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander
  • Seeking long-term career development
  • Willing to commit to 18 months of training
  • LR Driver’s license desirable
  • Reliable and punctual 
  • Must have a current National Police Check, First Aid Certificate, OCHRE card and a current flu vaccination or a willingness to obtain prior to commencing
