About the Opportunity
Re-Solved is currently looking for a Developer (Cloud Specialist) to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.
In this role, you will configure, develop, and execute custom and core platform features of client systems. With your solid experience of configuring cloud-based, JavaScript, and .Net applications, you will be responsible for platform configuration and custom development for client systems.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Configuring systems from end-to-end including custom programming, troubleshooting of errors, and quality assurance testing as required under the direction of a senior developer/architect.
- Working closely with peers on the project team as they receive directions from the project lead.
- Seeking approval for system changes/modifications prior to commencing any configuration work.
- Participating in project walkthroughs, business requirements gatherings, design walkthroughs, functional test plans, and implementation sessions.
- Assisting with performing integrated system testing when new features are applied to a client system.
- Managing and maintaining content management and control processes and tools.
- Enabling successful go-lives by acting as the internal QA before UAT with the client and final implementation takes place.
- Assisting the support desk as needed to solve complex system tickets.
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a College Diploma in a Computer or IT related program, or equivalent experience in a related field.
The successful candidate will also have:
- Knowledge of .Net, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML.
- Experience with SmartSimple Platform (preferred).
- Experience with application configuration within a CMS or similar environment.
- Basic knowledge of ‘Software as a Service’ Solutions (SAAS) and experience of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to grasp concepts quickly with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, concise and effective communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
